One of the makes for which we are a dealer, Land Rover, has been actively involved in humanitarian missions with two leading organizations: the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies! Land Rover has once again created the G4 Challenge 2008-2009 program to support the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. This is essentially a global sporting enterprise that helps raise funds for humanitarian causes. This competition involves the following criteria:
- a total of 18 national teams consisting of one male and one female member each
- Carried out over a period of 18 months to be held in
- The event will be environment-friendly as well as completely carbon offset through Climate Care
The benefits of this challenge are that emission levels would be at amazing lows and thereby ensuring that the competition is going to be healthy in both the literal and figurative sense. In addition, the next two Challenges combined are estimated to help raise more than $2 million and Land Rover will donate a vehicle to the teams national Red Cross or Red Crescent National Society that wins the challenge.
