SYNC Destinations provides TDI users with an exclusive on-the-go link to their cloud-based SYNC TDI account on www.syncmyride.com, where they can add, save and manage ‘Saved Points’ or addresses. A maximum of 25 Saved Points can be accessed through the app. Locations added via the SYNC Destinations app are immediately accessible through SYNC Services once in the vehicle, with turn-by-turn directions delivered to the car from the "cloud", just hit the Voice Button, say "Services" and you can access your newly entered destinations.
With SYNC Destinations, SYNC TDI users can more effectively plan their commutes, accessing tried-and-true predictive traffic and travel-saving features. Other key features include:
- Traffic maps with real-time speed, flow and incident data for all major roadways in 126 cities
- Traffic forecasts that use historical data to help predict how travel times change based on the time and day of the week
- Traffic routes and alternatives, generated by leveraging crowd-sourcing traffic data from more than 3 million users

How to Get the SYNC Destinations App
Ford, Lincoln and Mercury owners of 2010 and 2011 SYNC-equipped vehicles with active TDI accounts can download the SYNC Destinations app for free from the Apple App Store and Android Market. SYNC Destinations mobile application is supported on the following smartphone mobile platforms:

How to Use the SYNC Destinations App
After downloading the app from the appropriate app store, customers activate/launch the app by entering their www.syncmyride.com account login credentials (login id and password). Once those credentials are submitted, the app confirms the user’s TDI subscription status, and is then unlocked and ready for use.
