Throughout Bike Week, different events will take place in the Daytona, DeLand and Orlando, Florida areas. However, the epicentre of this gala event is Daytona where about 500,000 people are expected to participate in this annual 10-day event starting from March 9. This year’s Bike Week is pushed back one week later than normal as the Super Bowl and Daytona 500 were organized one week later than normal. This simply translates into a little more mingling with the spring breakers on the beachside!
You can remember the bikes from Old School Chopper Show at Willie’s Tropical Tattoo in Ormond Beach or catch a glimpse at what is to come during the Daytona Progressive International show. You can also enjoy live music at any of the biker bars and saloons during the festivities. If you are looking for a real adrenaline rush, then don’t miss the Daytona Supercross and Daytona 200, both featuring the world’s best motorcycle riders battling it out on some of the toughest courses around.
Florida is all set to enjoy this festive occasion. Orlando Harley-Davidson is next in the line-up which will be featuring a hard-rocking 9-day concert with headliners Soul Asylum. Many exciting events including the infamous coleslaw wrestling at Sopotnik's Cabbage Patch in Samsula are also scheduled in the DeLand, Sanford areas, so no matter where you are, you can participate in any of these annual celebrations.
