2013 Lincoln MKZ Offers More Features/Lower Priced than Lexus

Island Lincoln, a leading Lincoln dealership in Merritt Island, FL, is pleased to announce that the all new Lincoln MKZ premium midsize sedan is now available with more standard features plus, a lower price tag than the new Lexus ES 350.

Jim Farley, group vice president, global marketing, sales and service, said, “The new MKZ and MKZ Hybrid are proof of our commitment to reinvent the Lincoln brand for a new generation of Lincoln customers.” He further added, “There’s a large group of thoughtful individuals who take great pride in planning and following their own unique paths, and the MKZ is the first of a number of all-new vehicles designed with this same attitude to be a compelling choice for these independent-minded consumers.”

Here is a sneak peak of the new 2013 Lincoln MKZ:

Under its hood, the new Lincoln MKZ is powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. Lincoln promises to deliver 240 hp along with a fuel economy of 22 mpg city, 33 mpg highway.

The all new MKZ offers Lincoln Drive Control that regulates the performance of the Continuously Controlled Damping adjustable suspension, engine, transmission, electric power assisted steering, Active Noise Control, stability control systems, and traction control.

Intelligent Access with push-button start, SYNC with MyLincoln Touch driver connect technology offer more convenience to your ride. Other standard features include LED headlamps and tail lamps, push button shift, a 10.1-inch LCD instrument cluster and remote start and Easy Fuel capless fuel filler.

If you are concerned about fuel economy, you can choose the MKZ hybrid model that is one of America’s most fuel efficient premium midsize sedans. The hybrid model is not only fuel economic but cost effective too compared to its class rivals. For example, the 2013 Lexus ES 300 hybrid is priced at $38,850, representing a $2,750 premium over the 2013 Lexus ES 350 and nearly $3,000 ($2,925) more than the 2013 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid.

The MKZ hybrid is powered by new lithium ion batteries that save more energy. It features a plethora of smart technologies like SmartGauge with EcoGuide that helps drivers learn how to save more fuel. The system rewards drivers visually in the form of the growth of virtual flowers on the system’s display if you are driving in a fuel efficient manner daily.
